Loddiswell Breakfast Club offers before and after school care from Monday - Thursday for the children of Loddiswell Primary & Pre-School. We aim to provide a happy, safe, secure and relaxed environment offering high quality childcare and play opportunities for the children.

We believe in the importance of enjoyment and play to a child’s wellbeing and healthy development as an individual and aim to provide an environment that is friendly and relaxed. We offer children the opportunity to freely choose activities and resources as they wish and endeavour to meet the interests of the children in our care through the range of activities we provide. After school we regularly visit the park, the forest school area and the village allotments.

During mealtimes the children sit down together to chat while they enjoy a healthy breakfast and after school snack, such as fresh fruit, cereal, toast or crumpets with various different toppings. Fresh milk and fruit juice is available as well as drinking water.

Loddiswell Breakfast Club is run by Matty Dawe. A former Loddiswell Primary mum with a child now in year 9 at Kingsbridge Community College. She is a fully qualified teacher with 20+ years teaching and leadership experience at primary level.

All staff at Loddiswell Breakfast club are DBS checked. We aim to maintain a staff/child ratio of 1:8 for children under the age of eight, in line with statutory requirements. There will be one staff member who is fully trained in paediatric first aid on site at all times.
